At Just Three Words, we work hard to deliver high‑quality, made-to-order products that you’ll love wearing (and showing off). Because each item is printed on demand, we have a specific returns policy for personalised products.
Please read the details below before requesting a return.
Returns Criteria
You can request a return if:
- Your request is made within 30 days from the date of delivery; and
- The item is defective.
Defects include (but are not limited to):
- Printing errors
- Manufacturing faults
- Damage or issues that affect the overall quality or usability of the product
We cannot accept returns for:
- Customer errors such as typos in the text you provided
- Incorrect choices of size, colour, or design made at checkout
- General change of mind on personalised items
Because our products are printed on demand and customised, we’re unable to resell returned items that are not defective.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return for a defective item, please email our customer service team at:

- Description of the defect
- Clear photos showing the issue with the item
Our team will review your request and let you know the next steps.
If your return is approved, we will provide:
- A return authorisation, and
- Instructions on where and how to send the item

Important Notes
- Please package the item securely to avoid any damage in transit.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we can’t be responsible for items lost in transit without tracking.
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll notify you whether your refund or replacement has been approved or rejected.
If approved:
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method.
- Replacements will be printed and dispatched as soon as possible.
Unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g. wrong item sent, clear manufacturing or printing defect), customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
